Celebrate a Founder’s birthday with our annual concert and holiday open house! Featuring singing by Yale’s Whim ‘n Rhythm and Columbia’s Kingsmen! Free for JHC members and Yale and Columbia alumni. $10 for non-members. Seasonal refreshments including cookies and hot cocoa will be served. Reception starts at 2:30 pm.
Whim ‘n Rhythm is Yale’s renowned all-senior a cappella group. The group’s twelve members are selected from the best of Yale’s senior class and embark on a world tour each summer. Whim has performed at high-profile venues around the world, including the White House.
The Columbia Kingsmen were founded in 1948, and famous alumni of the group — which has performed at Carnegie Hall and on Good Morning America — include Art Garfunkel.
Plus in keeping with the holiday giving spirit, we will be collecting food and supermarket gift cards of any amount for our partners at the Carver Center.
