JHC Welcomes New Trustee, Caroline Walker

The Jay Heritage Center is thrilled to welcome its newest trustee, Caroline Walker. Caroline, a communications and public speaking professional, worked in press and communications for decades at CNN, AOL and Simon & Schuster. She has also worked for the U.S. Senate, World Wildlife Fund and Columbia University. More recently Caroline has consulted for McKinsey, Accenture, the Better Business Bureau. Caroline holds an undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a master’s degree from Georgetown University. She also studied at Oxford University in England as a part of her graduate degree. In 2018, she was an adjunct professor at SUNY Purchase.

Rye was home for Caroline and her family for eleven years before they moved to St. Louis from 2018-2020. They have recently returned to Rye where Caroline has been involved with many civic initiatives including Rye Town Park and the Rye Historical Society where she was a trustee. Caroline is currently working with Thinker Analytix, a group of Harvard philosophers committed to teaching students critical thinking skills.
