Seasonal Spirit and Songs Fill the Gardens

Two premier a cappella groups–Columbia’s Metrotones and Princeton’s Tigertones–charmed an audience of more than 150 people at JHC’s last event of the year. The two groups, singing outdoors in the Historic Jay Gardens on an unseasonably warm afternoon, performed everything from holiday favorites like “All I Want For Christmas Is You” to hits like Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl.”  Among those in attendance were members of the Princeton Alumni Association of Fairfield County. Guests sipped hot cocoa and nibbled on treats from Jimmy’s Soft Serve.

The free concert was all for a good cause: Patrons filled an entire SUV with donations of non-perishable goods for Port Chester families served by our longtime partners at the Carver Center.

The day was such a success that another outdoor musical event is being planned for Spring 2022. Stay tuned!
