The Jay Heritage Center (JHC) is an educational nonprofit and the steward of the Jay Estate in Rye, New York, a 23-acre National Historic Landmark site and public park.
Together with our many community partners, we are dedicated to transforming our buildings and grounds into a vibrant educational campus, hosting innovative and inclusive programs about American History, Social Justice, Architecture, Environmental Stewardship and Preservation.
We hope to encourage people of all ages to understand, preserve and protect our shared heritage, natural and man-made – and to inspire the future historians, civic advocates and stewards of our fragile cultural and environmental resources.
JHC is a registered 501 (c) 3 charity chartered by the New York State Board of Education, however we receive no annual monies from tax dollars and rely solely on grants and contributions. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent covered by law.
