JHC Welcomes New Trustee Nicholas Cassin

Please help us welcome our newest trustee, Nicholas C. Cassin! Nicholas is a partner in the Investment Funds Group of Sidley Austin, where he focuses on private equity secondaries transactions. Prior to joining Sidley, Nicholas practiced law at Kirkland & Ellis and Debevoise & Plimpton, both in New York and in London. He brings a wealth of legal expertise and experience to our non-profit.

Nicholas was born and raised in Luxembourg, educated in both Belgium and the United Kingdom, and moved to New York City in 2011. He and his wife Josephine moved to Orienta (Mamaroneck) in 2020 and have a 2-year-old daughter, Margot. Nicholas has a passion for languages and history (principally European and US) as well as a keen interest in racquet sports and gardening. We look forward to his help with strategically planning the growth of our park and organization including continued rehabilitation of the 1916 Tennis House and the landscape at the Jay Estate.
