Fifty years ago, on a farm in upstate New York, a half million people gathered for three days of peace and music at WOODSTOCK. Those three days changed the way the world thinks about music and togetherness. On Friday, August 30th, 2019, the Jay Heritage Center will recapture the sights, sounds and energy of Woodstock. Stretch out on our front lawn with your friends and be transported by the music and vibe of those days back in 1969.
Part Two of our show, 8:25pm to 9:30pm, will dive into the music of one of Woodstock’s most famous acts, the Grateful Dead. Deadheads and casual festival-goers alike will groove to the performance.
To help us capture this evening of Woodstock celebration, we’ve invited the local band Crazy Otto to perform. Their skilled musicianship and devotion to the jams of the Grateful Dead and other 60s/70s bands make them the perfect tour guides.
Local musicians CRAZY OTTO – Crazy Otto plays the music of the Grateful Dead, while the music plays the band. Expect tight grooves and tasty solos from talented musicians. Layer some sweet harmonies on top and we will have ourselves a real good time! Check them out at facebook.com/crazyottoband
